ABOUT
THE WEB DESIGNER
Growing up in a Christian environment as a teenager was definitely
NOT my idea of fun. I attended church three times every Sunday,
Wednesday night for prayer meeting, Friday night for teen night
and on Saturday our family had the responsibility of cleaning the
church. I rebelled in a big way and managed to spend my entire teenage
years in trouble. As a result I ended up getting married too young.
It was at the age of 27 that I was ready to give up. I knew that
I was tired of the way I was living and needed a new dimension to
life and a new hope.
Little
did I know that since my two wonderful daughters spent much time
with their grandparents who were Christians, they were in church
praying for my salvation at the ages of 6 & 7 years old. The
magnitude of having my own small children praying for me did not
hit me until I turned my life over to the Lord. It was then that
I realized the importance of prayer.
My husband and I decided to move to Atlanta to escape the cold
weather in Chicago. It was then that my distraught mother pleaded
with the Lord for my salvation, thinking that since I was moving
so far away that she would never be able to reach me for the Lord.
My
entire family, which is very large, scheduled a day for everyone
to come together and pray for my salvation. I remember them telling
me that they all sat in the middle of the living room floor in
a circle, holding hands and praying for me. Two weeks later I
accepted the Lord as my personal Savior. This proved to my Mom
that the Lord does answer prayer on behalf of others and it doesn't
matter how far away they are. He can still reach them.
Accepting
Jesus as my Savior and having a personal relationship with Him
has been the most important decision ever made in my life. I now
love Him more than life itself. Without Him, I am no one and I
can do nothing, but with Him I can do everything. Christ is my
strength. He is my reason for living and for wanting to touch
others for Him. My relationship with Jesus is infinitely more
important than who I am, what I become or what I have! Looking
back I realize how important it was that I was brought up in a
Christian environment and I am eternally grateful to have had
Christian parents that led me in the right direction even though
I rebelled. My only regret is that I wasted those years not having
a personal relationship with the Lord.
I
feel so blessed to have the awesome privilege of serving Him by
using the talents He has given me. I believe that it was no accident
that the Lord brought Kevin McGill, the author of this website,
into my life to reach the "world" for His glory through
the information which has been provided here! It is my sincere
prayer that many lives will be touched and changed because of
what God has enabled us to provide through the presentation on
this website. To God be the glory both now and forever.
