HUMAN
COMPLETENESS FOUND THROUGH THE BIBLE
Every
human being longs to understand the true nature of his existence.
The questions are natural and universal: Where did I come from?
Why am I here? What will happen to me when I die? Why is there pain,
suffering and death? How am I to understand the evil that is found
in this world, including within myself? Is there a God in heaven
and does He love me?
The
questions go on and the Bible has the answers for them all. Thankfully
the answers come not only in written explanations but in powerful
demonstrations of the reality of God, His love for this world and
His power to overcome the tribulations in this life. In the pages
of the written word of God and in the life, death and resurrection
of Jesus Christ, the living word of God, all the answers to lifes
biggest questions are given and the solutions to it's deepest problems
of the soul are provided.
The
Apostle Paul wrote these encouraging words to the new Christians
of his day,
"...
in Him ( Jesus Christ ) you have been made complete (Colossians
2:10)
Man
was never made to live apart from His creator. When a person puts
their faith in Jesus Christ and believes the Gospel message they
are reconciled to God and are joined to Christ by faith forever
becoming a completed human being. The reality of the love of God
available to give forgiveness of sin, and to provide and protect
for time and eternity energizes the soul with inner strength and
joy that can be found nowhere else. No other religion or person
holds out a credible hope of life after death based on the reality
of a resurrected savior but Jesus Christ and Christianity. Only
Jesus Christ the Son of God spoke these words and He alone is the
only one who can make good on the promise they contain,
"I
am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live
even if he dies,
and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you
believe this?" (John 11:25-26)
